What data and why
- Account: name, email address and your password (only as an irreversible hash). Needed to run your account (performance of the contract).
- Subscription and payments: plan, trial and payment dates. Payments run through Mollie; we do not receive full account or card numbers. Needed for the contract and our legal bookkeeping obligations.
- Settings and paper trading: your settings, play-money positions and decisions. Needed for the service.
- Your own keys: an AI key you connect yourself, stored encrypted and used only for your paper trading.
- Security: IP address, browser and login times, to prevent misuse and break-in attempts (legitimate interest).
Cookies
We only use functional cookies: one to keep you logged in and one to remember your language. On the dashboard your browser also stores preferences such as sound and display. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes the data
- Hetzner (Germany): the server Cryptoallert runs on.
- Cloudflare: delivers the website and secures the connection. Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU, with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
- Mollie (the Netherlands): payments.
- AI providers you connect yourself: receive market data for decisions, not your name or email address.
We never sell your data.
How long
As long as your account exists. After you close it we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep for 7 years for tax purposes (such as invoices). Security logs are kept briefly, at most 90 days.
